DEADSIDE Version 1.4 is Live on PC!

Update 1.4 just dropped on PC today, adding a brand new map into the game! This map is smaller, designed for high player density and intense PvP. It features a new desert biome giving the map a fresh look, along with new POIs to fight in!


Along with the new map, version 1.4 comes with a handful of other cool features and changes like the ability to shoot and reload while jumping. Additionally, your DLC weapon skins have been expanding, allowing you to skin 6 more weapons in V1.4! The full list of changes can be found in the patch notes below. This update will be coming to consoles very soon, along with the ability to host private servers on consoles. Keep an eye out!

Changes and New Features:

  • Added ability to shoot and reload while jumping

  • New localization system in the game

  • Added ability to apply skins for: MG-36, SCAR, RPK, Mosin, MR5, HK417

  • Canned food now spawns in the world again

  • Added the ability to tear gloves and burlap into rags

  • Added more rag spawns into the world

  • Reduced the amount of ropes required to upgrade some structures to log tier

    • Normal & Triangle Log Foundations - Now requires one rope

    • Log Walls - Now requires one rope


Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented a player to “drag and drop” a weapon into an empty inventory slot

  • Fixed a bug that caused base modules with 100% to lose an incorrect number of durability points when disassembled with a hammer

  • Fixed a bug causing a player to not hear other players jumping.

  • Fixed various graphics and level design bugs

  • Fixed a bug that caused the barbed wire barricade to be unplaceable on the ground

  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect death/kill information to be displayed in game chat (including kill information on PvE servers).

  • Fixed displaced positions of Helicrash and Wandering Merchant

  • Fixed bugs with ammo count, missing shot sounds and durability loss when interrupting reloads by running

  • Fixed animation of RPK holding with extended magazine

  • Fixed character falling off a ladder when completing a climb with the W key released

  • Fixed a bug that caused carpets to block placement of objects

Can yall plez make console feel better.

i feel like aim assist makes you worse and not having a separate vert and horizontal sens is fckd.
